Couldn't agree more. This liminal space is so real. I wonder if it’s less about abandoning creativity and more about redefining success's paramters. Sometimes, our 'creative expression' just updates its operating system, you know? Your insights are always spot-on.

For the women I spoke with and me, it felt like abandonment because we literally stopped writing, stopped using our voices in the ways that had once fed us. But yes, maybe what we're all doing now is allowing our creative expression to evolve into something that actually aligns with who we're becoming. Thank you for adding this perspective.
